The Finance Division of a top global company  is seeking a full-time temporary employee to perform the following duties. 
The temporary support will work on a full-time basis in Darmstadt from January 1, 2024 to June 30, 2024.
The Temporary Financial Assistant (m/f/d) will support the Finance Division, specifically in Budgeting and Treasury. 
 

Your new role

• Collect data from various reports and sources (e.g., SAP), update internal working documents (especially Excel files), and prepare status reports
• Assist with administrative duties, including scheduling meetings, preparing and dispersing communications, and performing secretarial tasks. This may entail dealing with sensitive or confidential information
• Help with budget-related tasks, like gathering information, verifying and validating data (including basic/first-line checks), and consolidating information (including retrieving/uploading data from/into SAP)
• Assist with treasury-related duties, such as making cash flow forecasts, monitoring treasury status, providing an overview of investments, interest rate spreads, and interest performance
• Support any additional tasks within the scope of the Finance Division's responsibilities as needed

Your Profile

• A degree beyond high school, such as a university degree in finance, is preferred
• Relevant experience in finance is necessary, including the gathering and combining of financial data
• It is essential to be skilled in the use of MS Office, especially Excel
• Knowledge of an ERP system, such as SAP, is a plus
• Candidates must be able to work effectively in English
• The capability to work both independently and collaboratively, as well as a keen attention to detail, is essential
• Proactive and communicative,  with a strong sense of responsibility when it comes to confidentiality and handling sensitive information
